The view of the Welland Canal from my balcony was the absolute highlight of my stay. It was fascinating to sit outside and watch the ships navigate through the locks. The peaceful neighborhood made for a relaxing experience, and being within walking distance of the Lock 7 Viewing Center added to the enjoyment. While the property itself feels a bit dated, the cleanliness and the charm of the surroundings more than compensated for it.

The location here is very nice. We got to watch the boats traverse the canal right from our balcony. The air conditioning worked really well, and despite being an old place, it was clean and comfortable inside.

Additionally, the property felt a bit dated, which didn't detract significantly from our overall experience.

The Inn At Lock Seven boasts an incredible view of the Welland Canal, perfect for watching freighters and sailboats navigate the locks. The staff provides excellent service, and the clean rooms contribute to a comfortable stay. The beautiful neighborhood enhances the overall experience, and the nearby Pho 18 restaurant offers fantastic dining options.

It was just a strong match for a brief hiatus in Thorold with best value. The manager was super accommodating when I had to cancel due to inclement weather.
